Terms of Service
Last updated: [23/04/2026]
The short version: These terms explain who we are, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you when you use this website or hire us to build yours. We've kept it in plain English. If anything's unclear, ask us — we'd rather talk than hide behind legalese.
1. Who we are
BuildForLeads.com is a trading name of Leo Cook Digital Marketing, a business registered in the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Leo Cook Digital Marketing. "You" and "your" refer to the person or business using this website or our services.
You can reach us at info@buildforleads.com.
2. Using this website
You're welcome to browse buildforleads.com, read our pages, watch our videos, and get in touch. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the site for anything illegal or harmful
- Attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the site
- Copy substantial portions of our content without permission
- Scrape the site or our pricing with automated tools
3. Our services and what they cost
We design and build websites, run Google Ads campaigns, and provide ongoing marketing support. Our pricing is published on our Pricing page and we don't have hidden fees.
What we charge:
- One-time website build: $5,000 – $10,000 depending on scope
- Monthly retainer: $1,750/month (12-month), $2,000/month (6-month), or $2,200/month (no contract)
- Google Ads management: $500 – $2,000/month, tiered by ad spend
We don't mark up your ad spend. Ad budgets are paid directly to Google on your own billing account, and you receive two separate invoices — one for our management fee, one for nothing at all from us on the media spend.
4. How our client agreements work
This website explains what we do and how much it costs. The binding agreement for actual work is the separate services agreement we'll send you before any project begins. That agreement sets out the specific scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment schedule for your project.
Nothing on this website is a contract offer on its own. A project only begins once both parties have signed the services agreement and the initial payment has cleared.
5. Who owns what
Your content
Anything you give us for your website — text, logos, photos, branding — remains yours. You confirm you have the right to use whatever you send us, and you agree to protect us against claims from anyone who says otherwise.
Your website
Once you've paid in full for your website build, you own the site. If you ever want to leave us, we'll export a complete copy of your site (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and media) as a .zip file so you can take it to another host. This is a commitment we publish upfront — you will never be locked in.
Please note: once exported, we can't support the site on the new platform, and some rebuild work may be needed depending on where it lands.
Our work
The content on buildforleads.com - our copy, videos, design, pricing structure, and framework — belongs to us. You're welcome to read it, share links to it, and quote it briefly with attribution, but please don't copy it onto your own site.
Portfolio use
We may show your finished website in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to. If your industry has confidentiality requirements, just let us know and we'll keep your project private.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Retainers
All retainer contracts can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. There is no flat termination fee.
If you're on the 12-month discounted plan and cancel early, you'll owe the difference between what you paid at the discounted rate and what you would have paid at the no-contract rate for the months you used. We don't penalise you; we simply recover the discount you received in exchange for a longer commitment.
Website builds
Website build fees are paid in stages tied to project milestones. Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable because the work has been delivered. If we fail to deliver a live website on your specified domain within 90 days of the project start, and the delay is our fault rather than yours, you can exit the agreement and we'll refund any milestone fees paid for work not yet delivered.
Google Ads management
Ad management fees cover the month in which they're charged. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice; we won't refund the current month's management fee after work has started.
7. What we're responsible for (and what we're not)
We do our work carefully and to a professional standard. That said, like any agency, there are limits to what we can guarantee.
We don't guarantee:
- Specific search engine rankings (no one can — anyone who does is lying)
- Specific lead volumes, conversion rates, or return on ad spend
- The third-party services we use on your behalf (Google, Meta, Duda, AWS) will be uninterrupted or error-free
Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim arises. We're not liable for indirect losses — things like lost profits, missed opportunities, or reputational damage.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything the law won't let us limit, such as fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
We're a UK business. If you're a US-based client, we understand UK jurisdiction may feel unfamiliar — we're happy to discuss this during contracting, and the services agreement for your specific project may set out different arrangements.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page. If the change is significant and affects existing clients, we'll email you directly.
